Naturally Reducing Wrinkles with these 3 DIY Face Masks
Today we go back to nature and use basic ingredients to help achieve radiant and glowing skin and for naturally reducing wrinkles.
I am often rummaging through the pantry and fridge to get my hands on natural goodies that I can blend, mash and apply to rejuvenate my skin.
If you have ever put raw, natural, superfoods onto your skin, you too will likely have experienced the glowing, healthy & radiant skin that follows.

So here are my top 3 fave homemade DIY face masks which will help combat wrinkles and fine lines head on!
They are DIY luxury thanks to the pantry as such!
1. Coffee & Coconut Oil Face Mask
Did you know that coffee grounds are loaded with antioxidants?
This exfoliating coffee mask will energise and rejuvenate your face. It smoothes your wrinkles and helps to reduces fine lines.
Coconut oil contains properties that can help fight free radicals and reduce fine lines and wrinkes. It also provides the skin with a lot of moisture.
What to do
Mix the following ingredients to form a paste and apply on the face and neck for 15-30 mins then wash off with tepid water. Follow with your favourite natural facial moisturiser like our Kakadu Plum Facial Cream.
Ingredients -
1 tablespoon coffee
1 teaspoon coconut oil
You can use this mask 2-3 times per week.
2. Banana & Oats Face Mask
This simple, face mask is loaded with vitamins and minerals including Vitamins A, B, E, and F, magnesium, zinc, iron, and potassium to fight the signs of ageing and treat wrinkles,
If you want to boost the effectiveness of this mask, add in oatmeal! It’s anti-inflammatory and can help soothe and treat the skin. You’ll be on your way to smooth, wrinkle-free skin.
What to do
Mash a banana in a bowl and add one tablespoon of oats. Mix well and apply the mixture to your face and neck.
Let it dry for 15-30 minutes and then rinse it off with tepid water. Follow with your favourite natural facial moisturiser like our Kakadu Plum Facial Cream.
You can use this mask 2-3 times a week.
3. Avocado & Olive Oil Face Mask
This mask is rich in antioxidants that fight the effects of ageing – sagging skin, fine lines and wrinkles. It aids in collagen growth, reduces fine lines & helps prevent dehydration.
Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and Vitamin E which aids in fighting free radicals and reducing fine lines. It also improves skin elasticity and tone and helps prevent dehydration.
The ingredients are rich in vitamin E and A that heal the skin and add a glow to it. It eliminates pigmentation and unevenness of skin tone.
What To Do
Mash half an avocado in a bowl and add one tablespoon of olive oil to it. Apply the mask to your face and keep it on for 10-20 minutes.
Then, rinse it off with tepid water and pat dry. Follow with your favourite natural facial moisturiser like our Kakadu Plum Facial Cream.
You can use this mask 2-3 times a week.
